All I can say is "WOW"!!
If you are from Canada eh! a woman and love hunting then you
will feel very welcome at the Arrowhead Wilderness Lodge.
The lodge is just a few hours south of the Canadian border
and offers a spectacular scenic drive, fabulous food and
accommodations. You will meet hunters from all over the
world and make new friends. The hunt normally starts at 3
p.m. so you can sit back and relax in the sauna, practice
your shooting or best of all if you want you can join the
guides on ATV's to check baits and move stands and just
spend your day out in the bush. If you harvest your bear
early in the week you can check out Gooseberry Falls, Lake
Superior, the city of Duluth and other scenic tourist
sights, which are just a short drive away. Guides are
interesting and helpful and will make your stay memorable. I
had a great time and was also fortunate to harvest my first
bear. I will be back.

Just a small editorial about the
hospitality at the Arrowhead Wilderness Lodge. They say
location is tantamont to success, couldn't be better than
the North Shore of Lake Superior and the Superior National
Forest in Northern Minnesota. Main Lodge and bunk facilities
are superb. Food was wonderful. Guests were fun and
interesting. Blinds and bait and guides were top notch. And
I even killed a beautiful bear with my first muzzleloader
shot. Wonderfully hosted adventure. Thanks for sharing your
paradise with me.

great place to take your friends or family! You will get to
see some great bears, eat some great food and meet some

Arrowhead Wilderness Lodge offers
hunters a lodge in Minnesota's northern wilderness - and so
much more. The bear hunting is great and the lodge in
comfortable, but Arrowhead - with or without a kill -
provides hunters a getaway sense of low-key relaxation
throughout the stay unmatched by most outfitters. Brian
Bachman and his staff put shooters (gun or bow) on stands
that virtually guarantee bear sightings. Sleep in, enjoy the
scents, sounds and scenes of northern Minnesota in early
September, hunt at your own pace, and enjoy good food
prepared well. After a day or two at the lodge, you'll be
planning the next trip before this one ends.
