| Kansas has become the Mecca for archers
in search of a monster whitetail. The rut in Kansas is entirely
within the archery season. Arrowhead Wilderness Outfitters offer
a limited number of archery whitetail hunts during the pre and
peak rut, typically the last week of October through the middle
of November. During this time of the year it is not uncommon for
the bucks to be on the move the entire day. 150 - 200 point
whitetails are not uncommon. We hunt private property on the
Saline and Republican rivers in north central Kansas. We have
many years of experience hunting this area. Properties are
scouted year round and comfortable stands are strategically
placed and only used when the conditions are perfect. A stand
may be used only once in a season. We strive to give you best
possible opportunity to take the buck of a lifetime. You will
see bucks that most hunters only see in their dreams. With this

| Kansas manages for big bucks by
managing their hunters. Tags are issues by lottery and
preference is given to those who have previously applied. It
usually takes 1 to 2 years of preference to secure a tag. The

| Lincoln county in north central Kansas
is home to the Rio Grande wild turkey and Arrowhead Wilderness
Outfitters. The area has great habitat for producing a lot and
big birds. We offer both archery and shotgun hunts for these
elusive magnificent birds. Kansas has an archery only season in
early April with the gun season following. Tags are purchased
over the counter. Hunting is all done on private property and
the limit is 2 bearded birds. Because of the abundance of birds
in the area success rate on long beards is high. Lodging is
included on the hunt and you will enjoy the stories told each
evening from the days activities. So if you are working on your
